Pornography itself doesn't devalue women. Its the belief that pornography i.e. explicit sex is "dirty", "degrading", and "a fate worse than death". We are animals and as such, surviving (eating and avoid being eaten) and reproducing i.e. "pornography" is what we are on this planet for. All animals have "courtship" rituals to attract and have sex with their selected mate. Our (humans) courtship rituals mostly controlled by the religious organizations whom specify and attempt to control the steps of the courtship rituals: introduction, kissing, hand holding, formal commitment (engagement), officially pair bonding (marriage) and the "honey moon" which is the official ritual (religion/organization) sanctioned ritual to engage in "pornography" with your pair bond mate. The sex ritual was proscribed to be limited to "missionary" sex only for centuries, and the "unnatural acts" and "crimes against nature" was specified by religion/organizations/governments. We are the only animal which has sex in private, that is, away from others of our species. Although I am sure that a lot of family pets have been frightened by what goes on in the parents bed room. Sex is a male centric activity. When you control a male's sexual activity, and enforces it with punishment for non conformity, you have the males undivided attention. Doling out sex by the government or the church kept populations in check. The church in some countries is a branch of the government, and but specifies secular victim less laws on how sex is to be implemented. The word for this is pornography. Unconstrained sex for allowed for the nobility/rich and the hierarchy of the church. You bought dispensation. The organized religion has mistreated and labeled women through the centuries, via labeling: whore, slut, virgin, Miss, Mrs, etc. There are no corresponding labels for men. Organizations and the men and women inside organizations seek power and control and domination over other people, and they control what people desire and want. Consensual sex between adults is natural and necessary for individuals and the survival of the species. The techniques used during this activity are also natural and as long as one partner(s) are not traumatized physically or mentally it is harm less and is not the concern of anyone outside the participants. People whom need the fetish of domination, guilt, and labeling should stick to organizational specified and proscribed sex practices.
